For those who don’t know me, I bought my one bedroom unit in December of 2009 and am a year-round resident. I worked in private industry for a small company for 25+ years, eventually becoming the CFO.
In 1998 I decided to make a big change to pursue a career in law enforcement, as other family members had done. I worked as a uniformed officer in the New York State Courts for eight years in the Criminal Courts. I was thoroughly trained & experienced  all aspects from dealing with the very worst offenders as well as the most vulnerable victims, and everything in-between. I was promoted to Senior Court Clerk and worked an additional 12 years in Civil Court, running courtrooms & working closely with Judges, lawyers and litigants. I was a NY State certified EMT for 10 years and volunteered with local ambulance corps.
Because of my background, security has always been important to me, as it was after Superstorm Sandy. I was appalled by spectators/looters who wandered onto our property to help themselves to the destroyed cabana’s contents. My training kicked in & I immediately set out to assist in securing the Imperial House property. I hope it shows one of the many ways I care about my home & neighbors.
I recently retired after 50 years in the workforce and look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience in working as a team to make the Imperial House the very best place to live.
