Irene Pershep, Treasurer

irene-pershepIrene Pershep is presently retired.  Previously, she was employed in New York City at a major commercial bank for over 40 years, where she was a Vice President and Auditor, responsible for financial and administrative matters.

Ms. Pershep earned a B.B.A degree in finance from Baruch College.  She is also a graduate of the Banking Institute at the University of Wisconsin and is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Trust Auditor.

Ms. Pershep resides in both New York City and the Imperial House, splitting her time equally between New York and New Jersey. For the last fifteen years, she has owned her unit in the Imperial House and enjoys living at the condo during both the summer and winter months. When she retired from business, she was asked to run for the Board, and has been an active member for the last 5 years. In 2012 she was elected as Treasurer.

Ms. Pershep has been a member of Congregation Habonim in New York City for the last 40 years and has been involved with the sisterhood.
